Individual membership
Your training record, in your name.
A CORA membership for one support worker, paid for by you. The full course library, your own credential register, and a training record that stays yours when you change jobs.
What the membership gives you
The full CORA course library, the same scenario-based courses provider organisations use. 90+ courses across six streams, each built to run in under 30 minutes on a phone, mapped to the NDIS Practice Standards and the NDIS Workforce Capability Framework.
Your own credential register, holding worker screening, first aid, tickets and licences, with expiry warnings before anything lapses.
Certificates you can download and send to anyone who asks, with the standards mapping printed on them.
Why it matters that the record is yours
Most training in this sector sits inside an employer's system. Leave the job and the record stays behind, so the next provider starts you from nothing and pays to train you again in things you already know.
An individual membership inverts that. The account belongs to you. Your completions, your certificates, your credential expiry dates, all in one place that follows you between services.
For anyone working across more than one provider, or picking up shifts as a sole trader, that is the difference between proving what you can do in a minute and reassembling it from four inboxes.
What it costs
$175 a year, GST included. One price, published, no quote and no per-course charges.
Set up the moment you pay. Use a personal email address rather than a work one, so the account stays yours. It renews each year and you can turn renewal off from your account whenever you like.
What it does not do
CORA delivers training and produces the records of it. It does not decide whether a worker is competent, and neither does any other online platform.
Competence in a real support task is judged by a suitably qualified assessor inside a provider organisation, observing real practice. Where a support genuinely requires hands-on assessment, such as PEG feeding or tracheostomy care, an online course is the preparation and not the proof.
What the membership gives you is a training record that stands up, in your name, with the standards mapping on it.
Questions
Who is the individual membership for?
Any support worker paying for their own training. People working across more than one provider, casuals, sole traders and anyone whose employer does not supply training beyond the bare minimum.
What happens to my record if I change jobs?
Nothing. The account is yours, not an employer's. Your completions, certificates and credential expiry dates stay with you when you move between services, which is the whole reason it exists.
Does my employer see my account?
No. An individual membership is separate from any provider organisation on CORA. Use a personal email address rather than a work one when you join, so the account stays yours.
Will this make me competent for high-intensity supports?
No, and no online course can. Competence in a real support task is judged by a suitably qualified assessor inside a provider organisation, watching real practice. Where a support genuinely needs hands-on assessment, an online course is the preparation and not the proof.
Can I cancel?
Yes. The membership renews each year and you can turn renewal off from your account at any time. You keep access until the end of the period you have paid for.
