This is a practice tool, not a policy document
This template shows one common way to lay a training matrix out: roles down the side, required training across the top, workers or a completion percentage in the cells. It does not decide what training is mandatory for a role in your organisation. The NDIS Practice Standards ask a provider to show its workers are appropriately skilled and trained for the supports they deliver. They do not hand you a fixed matrix, which is why most providers build one shaped like this and adapt it to their own registration groups.
Add rows for your own roles, add or remove training columns, and it is yours the moment you print it or copy it into a spreadsheet.

A training matrix is a grid showing which training is required for which role, and which workers in that role have completed it. It is a coverage view: read down a column and you see who still needs a course, read across a row and you see one worker's full training picture.
A training register lists what training actually happened, worker by worker, with dates. A training matrix maps what training is required against each role, then shows coverage across the team. A register tells you what was done. A matrix tells you what is still owed, by role.
